How do I connect my bank account?

After you download the Smash app and log in, it’ll prompt you to connect all relevant accounts by logging into your banks through the secure portal - Plaid. Data pulled from Plaid is encrypted and enables read-only access to your transaction and account details (current balance, minimum due, interest rates etc.) so Smash can provide the most accurate and personalized plan for your personal financial goals. 

Smash will require a read-only access to at least one checking account to accurately identify recurring income and bills to generate debt payment plan that will suits you the most.

Smash doesn’t store or access your account credentials, nor does it have access to make any changes to your financial accounts at any time. 

We have a wide range of approved banks and cards across the United States. If you can’t find your bank for any reason, please ping us at support@smash.money, and we will do our best to get it into Smash!
